When we source some steel parts for it, & a better exhaust manifold & system, deffo mid 160s+ :wink:

 

Chuffed with that power considering its a budget engine Ie rubber bottom end.. :mrgreen:

Which rollers did you run it on - have you used both Jeff? Any descrepancies between the roads? I had a mate with a ex hot rod Kent 244, BVH, on 45's on Sanspeeds before, made 150 too. And that was a fantastic little engine - dead now :sad: Done a follower sitting in traffic on the way back from the Ace one night. He insisted on running it on Castrol R - which I would have thought had been surpassed by now with modern oils. :ykt: (Valvoline 20-50)

Hi Toby, it was on the old rollers, but I do believe they have been recalobrated !

Never been on the new rollers !

There was a all steel singing & dancing, escort, on there after ours which didn`t make much more over 150 !

 

Should have James` on there in the next couple of weeks..

Yeah I had heard a rumour that it may have been re-calibrated so thats good going. Be good to hear how James' goes! :ykt::thumbsup::thumbsup:

jef that was my escort on after you and its a rubber bottom end.

my car made 157bhp :D:D but now my manifold just stated to crak on 2&3. i took off today & i take it in to work fix for next weekend.

Nice one mate thats exactly the same power as mine made at northampton motorsport. all rubber 2! :D

Thats ok mate, we use the rubber saying cos when you rev the engine at top revs, the crank flexes, hence the term rubber.. :lol:
