i know they did the dorchester limo but this was huge with the big glass in for coffins...

theres a granada hearse down by me with mk2 escort rear lights. He reversed into a lamp post at a funeral and my he knocked my door asking for a rear lens because he seen the rally cars

Our Family has run a funeral firm for years.

we had a granada hearse up until about ten years ago. it was older than the ones you show. i had a V8 iirc (Rover) and we had a limo to match.

we scrapped them when the became unviable to run.

all the hearses are made by coachwork complanies....my dad was a funeral director for years...been brought up around them....used to play in the hearses and limo's as a kid.....

Loads of them ended up on the banger tracks, not very suitable as the rear end is mostly fibreglass so if someone follows in they're all but destroyed!

There's also at least 1 running hydraulic suspension which was in either Custom Car or Str**t M*chine years ago which had a fish tank in the rear panel!
