Mr Sam Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 i saw what was left of the car totally un recconisable whate make/model it was and the smashed up lorry head on wedged under the lorry took them over 12 hours to get the bodies out of the wreckage its a very dangerous road im guessing it was wet i know theres one corner you can garantee to see a car in the ditch or hedge whenever it rains thoughts are with the families
Chris M Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 sat in the traffic behind all this,.new it was bad when ya see a coreners van go past
stevepeanut Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 one of the lads I work with died this week in a car crash, its shocks you so much. There one day, gone the next. Makes you think, live life to the full, and try not to moan about stuff
Messenjah Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 it is a tragic crash and a tragic loss of life but there were 7 people in a mondeo ? and its not like it wa sa low speed crash ...
Trevmk3 Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 yeah it was bad, and i have had quite a few good friend die in road crashes and i have sympathy for the families of them involed, but 6 people in a mondeo isnt exactly the best way to drive around
richie_stix Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 it is upsetting, but people drive like twats round mine (hampshire), doing like 60 on single width country lanes with large trucks and farm machinery frequenting the road (specially in summer) i learn't my lesson booing along at 60 with 3 other people in the capri, came round a bend and there was a tractor with bale spikes on the front and a bale cart behind... as you all know, cappa brakes are shit so i had to swerve, hit the verge and somehow 2 wheeled it past! bloody thing was about two inches from my window! brown trouser moment for all of us
flyingbanana Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 it is upsetting, but people drive like twats round mine (hampshire), doing like 60 on single width country lanes with large trucks and farm machinery frequenting the road (specially in summer) you get it everywhere......ive been nearly hit a few times by people booting in country lanes to come around a corner to see me in the lorry doing 5-10mph the amount of idiots i see on the roads each week,im surprised their is not more accidents like this...esp when people think 'yer ill boot past this lorry to get in front of it' no matter if they cause problems...then slam the brakes on because they didn't look at the road ahead and then hope the lorry can break in time ..but then i could give so many different ways of people driving like idiots i suspect they were driving like idiots/overtaking with 6 people and they failed
Slammed Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 oh dear. my heart goes out to the families of them.

Some people learn thier lesson and some people dont live to learn thier lesson,as i found out the hard way. My heart goes out to those left to pick up the pieces.
Mr Sam Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 another 2 died on a lane just off the 607 on friday evning about 2 miles from my house thats 8 within a week
