Jeff HPE Motorsport Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 We took James` car up to the Pod today, to give it its first run to see how it would go, although we were gambling on the settings, after missing our slot at Sanspeed, but we decided to go anyway.. Well what can I say I was jumping up & down when he recorded a 11.7et with a terminal of 110mph. Although we did run another 11.7 at a 112mph, he had 2 more runs that were slower, we decided it was to hot to do anymoe runs, & including others that we had been talking to, the track was alot slower. Anyway it didn`t miss a beat & we were over the moon to get that time on its maiden run, fresh out of the box, anyway thats enough blowing of my tumpet. Jeff Harris..

ASBO CAPRI Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 Good times considering the heat up there I was up there on the saturday and I would say most cars were a good 2 tenths off there bests. There was just not enough oxygen in the air to make decent power.

Yes I agree,the heat was stifeling, we decided to go early, we had done what we wanted to do, & the 11.7, first time out was good enough for us, we are now looking forward to other outings, & especially the Brighton speed trials !! Although before then we will definately be going to the rollers.. Jeff Harris..
