anyone ever thourght of setting up a bait car type thing, get an old mk2 with hardley any petrol in it and park it somewhere, keep an eye out on it,

2 in the same place in 2days, might be something to think about. could always lead to finding the other cars.

sick as a budgie mate

it dont mater what you do to protect your motors, if its done to order it`ll be gone, how easy is it to chor a roller or lambo, and these cars are going missing all the time, and for 2 osf to go with in a cpl of days of each other and on the door step of each other aint just a chance happening

sorry for your loss mate but there are low lifes that have no respect, i know i use to be one in w london many years back

again cheers for the replies, as for security, a bloody great big chain with a heavy duty padlock, obviously no match for whatever they used to chew through it

Tooled up sounds like the knew what they wanted

that pluss the other going missing equalls escort only jobs in my eyes and planned as well so i'm sure they are well hidden somewhere not just dumped in an ally (sorry to sound like a downer mate).

I hope they find the theiving scum and chop their frikken fingers off cos thats what i'd do

Whilst that's a good idea

1, who is going to put thier car up for it

2, it's just now been put out on the public internet

I am gutted for you mate, hope you get it back. I thought all this had gone quiet.

still no news yet, not that i thought i would hear any thing but i do think it will be stripped for spares, it does have some distinguishing marks that i would spot a mile off but the likely hood of it staying in one piece is pretty remote

just hope that the insurance company play ball and settle up quickly so i can get another escort

oh yeah, and it still had the London to Brighton Plaque on the grill as well, mother f*ckers have really hurt me this time,

i feel for you mate

i remember back when i was a kid, "someone" (we know exactly who it was) stole my dads mk2 transit. :( it was recovered but we last all of the tools, apart from one pair of needle nose vice grips. it was sign-written by hand, and sparked my love for OSF's!!!

one day i will have a transit or an escort van.......

anyways, best of luck finding the car.....

well it's been nearly a month now and nothings turned up, did have the police phone and say the case has been re-opened last saturday as the car was seen (supposidly) last tuesday 26th at elmers end by a member of the public who had seen one of my posters, it took the police until the 30th to tell me, and admit that they didn't even know what the car looked like? What the F*CK?????

i asked them if it had been re-opened, when was it closed, they told me it would have been the sunday after i reported it stolen because it wasn't a solveable crime....so after just two days that was it, case closed

i checked out this lead in elmers end but there was nothing there that looked like my car, never the less, the car could have been there but in the 4 days it took the police to respond it disappeared

moral of the story....if you have a problem, then sort it out yourself cos the police only want solveable crimes, think i might go on a killing spree tonight then!

as asked before, did the car have an alarm/immobaliser/ stoplock??

sorry itll be a touchy subject but itll be nice to know what systems they can get past... really does seem like a very organised ring!

personally i have an immobaliser and stoplock on EVERYWHERE i go, its not worth the risk, if someone knows how to hotwire one osf they can hotwire any within minutes.... and then thats it, its gone!
