Carb linkage kit

Anyone know which one of these linkage kits I should go for? It's for twin dellorto 40s on a MK1 Escort

i think there just as good as each other it just depends which way you want/need the cables to go as one comes across the rocker cover and the other heads toward the bulkhead personaly i would go for the second one just beacuse i think it looks better

Cheers, how about clearance? Is there enough under the hood to fit the second one?

the second one is miles better built as the top one also looks shite ive had both

ive just bought the 2nd one from burton, quite cheap for what it is, should be arriving soon hopefully lol

You can get the bottom ones so that they fit under the carbs but there is plenty of room on top

Nice one , now ALL I have to do is strip and rebuild the carbs, then figure out the jetting and give a go at tuning them (should be interesting!)

 

Don't suppose anyone know what revs a 2lt pinto hits peak power at on a Piper 285 cam?

i had problems withthe bottom one stitckin on full throttle

personaly its wouth get the propper webber one its £80 but it cant be beaten
