i agree but don't to me the cortina mk1 has always been a cool car( and the coolest osf ) and you could say it is my eleanor because it never goes right but the escort is also a cool car but is renowned for being a fun car to drive and people have alway's have a story involving one. Its like trying to decide which is cooler a 67 mustang fastback or a early dodge charger. But they are both cool cars

Look like dunlop D1's... I used to have some on my mk3 'tina but sold them for a stupidly low price on ebay

 

I love mk1 & 2 tina's, so different to the mk3, 4 & 5's..... but nothing beats the 'muscle' look of a mk3

Thanks mate, I am hoping to get it up to shaky for the HotRod Drags later this month,dunno if I am going to run it yet, as its a fresh engine, ----But with the extra mods I have done to the engine, it feels as its going to be quicker, it certainly sounds quicker,

The good thing about all OSF's are that there are so many fantastic cars to choose from if i had the space and money i would have loads but if i had to choose a cortina it would be a pro street MK1 with a 454 big block in it
