cjpcarpentry Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 couldn`t agree more,nice pics to !!!
MightySprocket Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 agreed, love the mk1s dont forget yours Mr Ratman
razersedge Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 i agree but don't to me the cortina mk1 has always been a cool car( and the coolest osf ) and you could say it is my eleanor because it never goes right but the escort is also a cool car but is renowned for being a fun car to drive and people have alway's have a story involving one. Its like trying to decide which is cooler a 67 mustang fastback or a early dodge charger. But they are both cool cars
Josh_gsy Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 mk1 & 2 cortinas are the coolest car around! what are those wheels on the second to last picture, the white estate. they look cool!
Stu_B Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 Look like dunlop D1's... I used to have some on my mk3 'tina but sold them for a stupidly low price on ebay I love mk1 & 2 tina's, so different to the mk3, 4 & 5's..... but nothing beats the 'muscle' look of a mk3
russ105e Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 I hope to get a mk1 soon if a plan comes together

V8ian Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 Your car is the nuts Ian. Hope to see it enter the OSFDC next year Thanks mate, I am hoping to get it up to shaky for the HotRod Drags later this month, dunno if I am going to run it yet, as its a fresh engine, ----But with the extra mods I have done to the engine, it feels as its going to be quicker, it certainly sounds quicker,
Mk 1 Mark Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 The good old MK1Gaz is now building a "350 bhp Mk1 Cortina "http://www.The Rejects Club.co.uk/ I have replied on pinto power, that we need to have a thrash to see who has the quickest Mk1 Cortina? Lap time/Quarter mile Three Amigo`s style...would be the nuts.. Oh and here is my entry On the rollers

Takeshi Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 My favourite OSF is a 1600E. I'd love to own one
D4N Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 And thats why im going to get a Mk1 cortina
DarrenM Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 I have this 1600E but a MK1 2 door is my favourite Cortina.
5hane Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 IMO the best cortina is probs the mk2 SAVAGE they should have had v6's in them (well mk2's) from the factory imo same as the capri peranna
garyv6100e Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 The good thing about all OSF's are that there are so many fantastic cars to choose from if i had the space and money i would have loads but if i had to choose a cortina it would be a pro street MK1 with a 454 big block in it
