john_3.0s Posted September 11, 2008 Author Report Posted September 11, 2008 i should have thought thats quite a good price considering the heritage of the car. dont imagine you could get an equivilent bmw or porka with that kind of history for that.

Rick Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 iv never understood why you would want a car with 'history' its not gonna drive any better and 99.5% of people wont even know. for a museum or stupidly rich collector ... yes you could build 3 good replicas for that
mk1rob Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 iv never understood why you would want a car with 'history'its not gonna drive any better and 99.5% of people wont even know. for a museum or stupidly rich collector ... yes you could build 3 good replicas for that I kind of agree with you there mate. If it was me, i wouldnt want to drive something with so much 'History' in case something happened to it. Wonder how much the Alan Mann escort would go for?
PIG Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 that thing has been for sale for at least a year, looks shit imo.put your paying for the fact it is a zakspeed with history.still needs killing tho
sambo Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 I fooking love both the cars. I would gladly pay that kind of money if i could. I'm not normally one to care about history but i think it is wicked!! A replica just would not be the same, try and get that injection set-up now! All the old skool engineering in those cars are great and look way better than modern stuff.
