i dont agree with it being raced even if its rotten in my opinion if its to bad to restore then it should be broken for its good bits to help keep other cars on the road

But it will ave been stripped out before it was race prepped and any useful bits were probably sold on or re-used. When the shell has died a death from racing, it can be broken for spares again so theres no real loss (exept if it was a good shell to start with ).

In the past, I bought a couple of ex race/ grasser cars with dead shells and busted em for spares. Some bits I kept and the rest I sold on to keep other cars alive.

when the cars are stripped out for racing anything thats anygood normaly get kept or sold on, the reason that the cars go for good money is the amount of work that goes into them if you ever get the chance to have a look at the way these cars are built then really look they are like tanks. i built a ministock about 6 years back for one of my boys the box section alone cost 500 and the amount of hours i put into it i wouldnt like to guess, and that was just to get him out on the track and not even in with a chance of placing.

i can understand getting up tight or upset if the car is a good solid shell but these cars arent anywhere near that
