Retro-gone. Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 1600 and 2.0 cambelts, i thought they were same but they are listed seperately . is the 2.0 belt slightly longer?
SmokeEm Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 I always thought they were different but not sure. Buy either a genuine Ford one or a Kent one from Rally Design mate. If you are using the FR31 or FR30 cam, it won't be an 'interference' engine but still worth the extra £5 or so
Retro-gone. Posted October 1, 2008 Author Report Posted October 1, 2008 have you seen the price of kent ones compared to normal aftermarket ones !
SmokeEm Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Mine was about £20 from Rally Design I think? The Kent logo soon wears off though
bortaf Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 2.0 block is taller, hense the longer belt
fiesta_dan Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 1 belt is 34 ribs and the other is 38
