The subs go direct from the printers but I don't have a sub, I have to wait until we get a box of mags sent to the office. I'd seen it in proof form, but there's nothing quite like having a mag in your hand to thumb through

Joe-ashtonmobile Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 This message is for mr pollitt your write about about th anglia with the v6 Quote silly exhausts and pointless bonnet vents, if you new anything about v6s then you would no people with bonnet vents are running triple webers and they need air as they sit on the top of the engine close to the bonnet not no crappy fuel injection, and for exhaust i have never seen silly exhaust proper v6s have twin exhausts. Rant over. YOU NO NOTHING ABOUT V6s
mk1super Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Another good mag cheers for wall planner
oldskooler Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 just got mine, about to get stuck into it. im lovin the norweigan animal!
RFChris Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 It is indeed a top notch issue, even better for the pixelation!! Oh, but while I'm here.... This message is for mr pollitt your write about about th anglia with the v6Quote silly exhausts and pointless bonnet vents, if you new anything about v6s then you would no people with bonnet vents are running triple webers and they need air as they sit on the top of the engine close to the bonnet not no crappy fuel injection, and for exhaust i have never seen silly exhaust proper v6s have twin exhausts. Rant over. YOU NO NOTHING ABOUT V6s 1) It's perfectly feasable to feed air to a carb fed motor without vents. And not every V6 in the land is running triple Webers. I'd know, I've had a few V6 powered cars. 2) This car has a singular exhaust, which helps retain the stealthy looks. The whole 'message' you are trying to make is pointless. It's called 'context' Joe. And in this context I'm trying to put the point across that this car a stealthy bit of work, a car which has had a great deal of thought put into the final look. If this car, as it is now, had vents, they would be "silly". If it had two pipes (no matter how justified they may be) sticking out of the rear, they would look "silly" in comparison to the rest of the car. Joe, YOU NO NOTHING ABOUT WRITING!

Well chris that car is a 2.9 so it would look silly with twin exhausts and there would be no need for air vents, but the part in the mag was pointed at our escort saying about are bonnet vents and twin exhausts and the way i see it is a car with a essex on triples needs vents to breath and i have never seen a capri essex without twins out the back thats how they come. so chris carry on being (bens bitch) come back when you no about v6s that have 250bhp n/a

RFChris Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Well chris that car is a 2.9 so it would look silly with twin exhausts and there would be no need for air vents.. Urm, yeah....that's why I said it. Bens Bitch; out!
twincam richard Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 what you actually wrote chris was, v6 powered cars give the game away via a silly exhaust and pointless bonnet vents, so we need to know your interpretation of a silly exhaust and why bonnet vents are pointless, i think that,s what ,s rubbing people up the wrong way !
