ZetecVan 2.0 Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 I've just got got the issue, and have only had chance to flick though, but read the Anglia V6 article. When I read the bit about the silly exhausts and pointless bonnet vents, I knew exactly where he was coming from. The car looks pretty much bog standard, with the lovely spruce green paint and lotus steelies. Having big 'silly exhausts' and pointless bonnet vents would spoil the LOOK of the car (we're not talking about performance here). No, bonnet vents aren't pointless and big exhausts aren't silly. But on this car, they would be, because in this case, it's all about the look. It's a nice looking sleeper. It's the same way my van doesn't have a 2.0 Zetec badge on the back. I don't want people to know what's under the bonnet.
zetecmk2 Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 i'm sticking a zetec badge on your van when i see it!!
Col-ashtonmobile Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 i agree mike the anglia has a superb install and looking the way it does is great, it,s the words 'pointless' and 'silly' that,s getting to people that have vents and big exhaust , imagine how you would feel if he wrote ' the v6 in this anglia is great and it does,nt need a pointless zetec in it !!!

Morley Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 It's all in good humour, as I've said many times, life is far too short to take it seriously. I like to think that the world of old Fords is as laid back and fun to be part of as it is, because of the light hearted people that populate it
