weird forums rules( not this one)

theres some strange forum rules out there in the world of forum land.

 

Im a member of one particular forum and found out last night its against the rules to post any ebay link thats not yours

 

as such i was told off by a member and my topic deleted

 

anyone know of any strange forum rules?..(dont state the forum!)

Not sure of any weird forum rules but I know of a forum where some of the members moan constantly about the rules on that forum

On the fight club forum I use, the first rule is don't talk about the rules.

Rules are there for one reason or another, i used to think they were made to be broken

Now i moderate i realise there for everyone well being and good. I wont mention....

 

That iam banned from several motorcycle forums In one case for asking the Editor of a certain motorcycle mag, that just so happened to sponser the forum (Big clue there) if it was a Dislexic Monkey, that did the proof reading, it did not go down at all well, especially when he was the one that did the proof reads

i agree rules are there for a reason....cant help but laugh at some though

 

unfortunately the site i mention is american and its very much a dictator ship and if you are new and dont know the rules inside and out and not part of the regular crew then you are pulled to pieces for it

Antz, I'm on an American forum a bit like that, when they get uppity I refer to them as living 'in the Colonies'. That usually kicks off a ruckus!!!

a forum i know of has as one of its rules that you must post your location and interests, and another at you can post any links form other forums
