stuartp Posted December 15, 2008 Author Report Posted December 15, 2008 This idea does sound very original and in my opinion would rather suit an unarched escort especially with the square headlights, it would look hard as fook slammed on 13's.. proper GT street racer sambo reckons it wouldn't suit an unarched escort, you and d4n reckon it would - and i can't decide! i'm almost decided on that combination though, just need to work out where on the car the colours should meet. I'm not having all that much luck photoshopping it tbh already lowered the rear by the way - much better stance now (front was already slightly lowered)
stuartp Posted December 15, 2008 Author Report Posted December 15, 2008 Is it painted yet no but it is in the garage - the time for deciding is very very close
D4N Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 I did this very quickly Coulours not perfect but you get the idea.. I think it looks good. Hard!
mk1super Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 Stuart i had a idea.... Humour me! Write down all the colours on a pieces of paper scrunch up papers, pop in hat draw a piece of paper out of hat paint that colour
bustermb Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 BLACK,BLACK,BLACK, thats the colour Im doing my four dr, big job though if not done right can show every inperfection. Ive got a top man doing mine, I've got the boot lid and one of the doors back, it's in gloss black with tiny metallic flake, the guy is amazing and reasonable too. The only downside is it's taking ages, but will b worth it in the end. If u have a good painter and a good car, that's half the battle won, still reckon u should go 4 black though lol.
stuartp Posted December 15, 2008 Author Report Posted December 15, 2008 not my motor but i just photoshopped this - looks pretty good that car actually looked wicked as it was in plain silver before i photoshopped it so i might just go for that just toooooo many modern silver cars on the road, reckon an old ford deserves something a bit less ordinary

stuartp Posted December 16, 2008 Author Report Posted December 16, 2008 This looks fcking awsome yeah does look kinda 70's and a bit mean however i reckon yours looks brilliant plain black (and the car i photoshopped looks wicked plain silver) so maybe i'm just being silly thinking about the two tone
stuartp Posted December 16, 2008 Author Report Posted December 16, 2008 by jove i think i have it british racing green with a cream (or maybe white, silver or even gold) roof

gpcmatric Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 silver with black stripes and or black roof
