BIAS_Engineering Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 Hi, my name is Gareth, and I'm a Ford-aholic. My current daily is a 1982 Ford Taunus Ghia V6 2 litre (V6-yes really) in gold, and very tidy. Currently collecting bits for a tuned 2.8 swap and some other subtle mods including RS 4 spokes and a 28i Granada front bib and a better exhaust. Currently rolls on restored Ghia alloys. I'm also building a model T Ford hot rod mental thing... with a V8 and drum brakes and a steering wheel made from old con rods.... I live in St.Andrews, Fife Scotland. I have built and owned a great many Fords including model T's, 100Es, 107Es, 103Es, Mk1 Escorts (11 of them including 1300 Sport, 1300E, Mexico, RS1600 and a space framed one with a V8!), a Mk2 1600 Sport Escort, Mk1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Cortinas, Mk1 Granadas (including a 3.0S Manual), as well as newer Fords, Mk1 Fiestas and the like, along with lots of other non-Fords. I was in the motor trade for many years before deciding to do a degree in Mechanical Engineering (I'm in 4th year now at Dundee uni) which is great as they have a fully equipped machine shop.... Cheers, Gareth
