bobmk1 Posted December 27, 2006 Report Posted December 27, 2006 how do you choose...... loved all of the above mentioned, but i really liked Martins satin black anglia...fookin hard car on a budget...get ere
Super Sh1te Box Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 Short list has to be almost the same as the ones already posted, think the subtle and slightly unusual mods on the sweat light blue anglia 105E just push to the top of the queue for me. Gets used and enjoyed lots too which make it even sweater and the boys are happy to talk and show you around and compare your ideas and the way to overcome common anglebox problems. R u guys doing a feature on Neils (Mr 105Speeds) awsome grey rocket ship???!!
RTo Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 On the outside every car looks fantastic - they're old skool Fords after all. For me it's usually the interior that either makes or breaks the car. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so even the smallest 'problem' can be really annoying. If something catches my eye in a bad way it ruins the whole image of the car. That's why my favorite is the V6 107E (May issue). It looks great on the outside and the style is continued on the inside making it look balanced.
Escota Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 For me, its also got to be the mk2 mex And also the Blue 100E with the banded 5.5j's with bike carbed pinto! Is that this "guvnors" 100e you lot are on about? Oh and in the latest issue of the mag, the Silver and Blue mk1! Alto's! That is hot hot hot! Where do you retro ford boys find these motors in other country's? Do they come to you, or do you find them?
4parajon Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 Personally every one is a gem and a credit to all there owners and the mag for featuring them, but if I had to choose just one it would be Ricky Hutchings Mk2, I just luv every nut and bolt on it
mk1super Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 I can say safely theres not been one car ive seen in the mag i havent liked.
tim Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 got to be steves mk2 rally car in the latest copy, love that car and have done for a few year
Coff Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Patriotic as I am, i'd have to vote for any of the Norwegian cars. Perhaps Bo's ambulance-white Mk2 Rs1800 is my favorite, also Morley's poison green van. Or maybe that sparkle red (don't remember the model name) with 19'ish rims. Yeah, that has got to be my favorite. By the way, a really cool pic is from the Rudskogen, Norway Ford track day, a detail of a side window on a beige Esc Mk2 with a RF sticker in it (my car, and I'm a bit proud, hehe).
martymk1 Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 Too soon to say yet, IMHO puddy looking forward to the feature on yours

105Nick Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 There was an awesome black mk1 in the readers cars section this month............ Yeah I noticed that, but someone's thinking of fitting bubbles and a paint job Seriously there isn't really a car in there that I can say I haven't liked, though due to obtaining it I've missed a few issues, but a shortlist would be Chris's Anglia covercar, it just looks great fun to play with and the finish is outstanding, the orange cossie RS2000 in the latest issue which is just pure fun to look at and I bet its a right blast to blat around in, I've wanted one like it ever since I saw it in Performance Ford and had the spread from that issue on my wall for ages, the blue HPE 100E and the concourse blue Mk1 Twink, I've never liked concourse but that just looks beautiful. I wouldn't say no to Timo's Colt RS1600 though, thats just a car of dreams
Coff Posted March 29, 2007 Report Posted March 29, 2007 Also I really, really like the norwegian red/gold esc mk1, featuring 715 bhp! Ribbed interior is not really my cup of tea, but 715 bhp is
