DeuceCoupe Posted December 6, 2006 Author Report Posted December 6, 2006 oi can i have opinions on capris now
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 A 2.8i as a daily driver would drink the juice. I'd quite like a yellow Mk1, but a 2.8i would also be nice, but a bit expensive.
Pipster007 Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 My Capri is probably more economical than your 'tina. They're not as bad as people make out
DeuceCoupe Posted December 6, 2006 Author Report Posted December 6, 2006 My Capri is probably more economical than your 'tina. They're not as bad as people make out at the mo cortina drinks a lot engine is f*cked she will be going to do bigger and better things so need something to drive to work
Admin Vista Posted December 6, 2006 Admin Report Posted December 6, 2006 I like all models of capri and if could get it back again the only one I'd have would be the Mk1 facelift 3ltr GXL I restored. But for what you're looking for, I'd keep my eye out for a mk3 2 litre Laser or if you can find one, a good Mk3 2.0s. 2.8i's are nice, but thirsty and not as cheap to fix as a common garden Pinto. Here's a possible candidate http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1986-FORD-CAPRI-L ... dZViewItem
Gareth Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 Get yourself a 2ltr Mand Still a fair bit cheaper than the V6 models, More economical, engine bits are easier to get, Here's mine
marky4 Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 mand get a mk3 20s or laser as a daily runner will be reliable and not to jucy
