Admin Vista Posted January 13, 2009 Admin Report Posted January 13, 2009 Harsh as it may seem you're probably better doing as much independent research as you can rather than asking on here. After all many people that view it on here will be potential purchasers and whilst I'm sure no-one would intentionally set out to pay less than its worth, equally everyone needs things as cheaply as they can get them. Especially in these cash strapped times. Have you done the numbers and calculated everything that you've spent on it to date?
bazbiker Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 That is alot of good work you have put in there, why not just finnish it as it is so close
kirk10 Posted January 13, 2009 Author Report Posted January 13, 2009 ive had enough of it mate carnt aford to finish it off atm want another van to convert into a camper for the summer and the unit its sat in doing nothing is costing me money every month
over_head_cam Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 It's a shame Kirk. You have put so much work, time and obviously money into your project but I'm sure you've already considered that. As for a price? it's hard mate. You will never recoup all your losses but you will surely get a good return as the car has a lot of the stuff to get it finished. If you want 3k for it then set the reserve at 3k. If it doesn't sell then you can consider your options after that
lhd1600e Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 now that is 1 good looking shell you have there mate
kirk10 Posted January 14, 2009 Author Report Posted January 14, 2009 2k is the best offer ive had on it twice i was thinking off setting the reserve at double that
Trevmk3 Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 set it at what you want mate, if it doesnt sell then lower it a bit
garyv6100e Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 First off the work you have put in to that shell is amazing but uffortunatley its a buyers market at the mo and it will only fetch what the market conditions dictate . set a figure that is the absolute lowest you are prepared to accept and take it from there . on the upside if you are going to be purchasing a complete car the price of that car should have also been affected by the market conditions Good luck and hope you get a good price for it
Rick Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 you want 4k at least all the hard work has been done and you got most the parts to finish. aint the best time to sell tbh though if your gonna let it go for 2k though give me a while to scrape some money together cuz thatsa bargain
wild pete Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 dont you dare let it go for 2k , its worth more than that , pple are taking advantage of ya m8 blaming it on the crunch
BIGKEV Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 dont suppose your workshop is in the pocklington area is it ?
