Savvi Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 I had promised i would sort out the Mk1 Estate for her but time and money has put that on hold, so i thought i'd have a look at what i was offered last week ,wasn't that interested until i spoke to the owner. I know it's not really Old Skool Ford but at the right price thought it would do her for a while !!! X R 3 I Cab 109,000 miles, power hood and electric windows etc, with the last owner having a full bare metal respray added Rs turbo body kit, bonnet and interior some 4 years ago. Taxed and Mot'd for the summer so hopefully she can bring it along to some shows and it will also give me some time to finish my van.
wanderer Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Was never really a fan, but that is a nice one
SmokeEm Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Sorry Savvi mate but that is proper wrong!
Savvi Posted January 17, 2009 Author Report Posted January 17, 2009 Same as mate, i had a normal car when it was nearly new in 1989 which i loved at the time but sold it to go back th the Mk1 that i had put away in the garage once i bought my 1st house !!! At £300, this one was a bargain by anyones standard
stevepeanut Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 At £300, this one was a bargain by anyones standard not everyones cup of tea, but I quite like it, and for that money, you scored one hell of a deal, mrspeanut likes it too
Retro-gone. Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 always liked em, weird the the dogleg alloys seem dated now.
bomber1 Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 wouldnt want it my self but looks a good clean car
tazrocks88 Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 the seats would go nice in an osf never liked the alloys but nice clean motor at £300 quid u cant go wrong
Savvi Posted January 17, 2009 Author Report Posted January 17, 2009 I have the same style of seats in both my Mk1's She seems happy with it, she took my son out for a test drive and arrived back 3 hours later !! I would rather her be in the Estate but i have quite a lot to do before that will happen, plus this means she might stop moaning about all my other cars
