its your motor, if you like it do it....... :D

thats precisely it... i cant decide if i like it enough too do it. but i already have the spoiler (got given it) and dont have much money lol.... i wonder if its worth anything... its the genuine bonefide real deal of one of the race cars

I'd just put the small rubber spoiler most MK3 capri's came with if i was you, i think thats all you need. But as the others say, its your motor, your choice.

Agree with Jay, HOWEVER, do you really want to make a piece of Classic English OSF look like every other ChavPower Halfrauds Smash 'n' Grab pantzmobile?

Get a 1970's style RGA spoiler off e-blag - it will be more 'genuine' than a Chavspoiler.

- or a Capri Turbotail, but these sell for @£120

- & e-blag the one you have as someone will pay BIG MONEY for the one you have with its credentials! :D

one of my fav spoilers is the one on the back end of a supra but even they look better without, totally upto you but id leave it smooth........maybe louver the rear window 8)

Mate, don't do it!!!!!

I know it's your car, but you can't decide, so, let me decide for you!!!

Have you looked into a reproduction Turbo Tail??? I was thinking of fitting one of those to mine, but to many people have said, I will lose all originality, which is fair enough!

But, if mine was a car to play around with, a Turbo Tail will have to be nailed on! Plus, there is something about a TT that makes the ar*e end of a Capri look damn sexy!:D:D:D

Lol i would love a turbo tail but they want insane money even for tatty or damaged ones.... so i was kinda thinking of other ways around it....

has anyone seen on of the zender ones i was talking about? they were manufactured for the capri specifically but i have only ever seen on of the damn things... they look great. they are quite similar too the cossie saff one which was sudjested earlier.

money is an issue cos im concentrating on getting the v8 in and that is literally taking all my cash

lol that capper is a bit rude for me... which has made up my mind. no touring car wing! its going on ebay and im gonna try and track down a zender rear wing

yes it is

i apologise, of course it is, it must have been the angle that threw me off

Personally I think that where the capri boot slides down to where the spoiler mounts it is not long enough to warrant a spoiler other than the normal or one slanted backwards like a TT. It looks too cramped up to the rear glass otherwise...

i agree which is why i half debated the tc one... because i hung off the back almost like a turbo tail
