Sir-Cato Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MODIFIED-TUNNED-V ... 240%3A1318 By my calculations he spent an extra £13621.13. Why he spent alot of that money getting it up to 323BHP i will never understand in a FWD. "this car was the 1st to be featured into a magazine (max power)" Is having a car featured in a mag that underage school boys buy for the women a huge achievement? (please no vauxhall bashing and yes i did search for modified on ebay to find it ) Edit: its a copy and paste job as the url tags dont seem to be working
Capri18 Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 I think it look pretty good actually, still kinda a waste of money for FWD think of the torque steer it would break your wrists
Chris! Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 The thing is alot of people think we waste money on old fords, if thats what your into then its not a waste of money
Stu_B Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 It's alright if you don't mind driving around in an over-powered running shoe
mk1super Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 Mk1/2 Astras were not too bad, Mk3 ok-ish at a push, but after the Mk3 they just got bigger and bigger till they ended up with that fugly thing!
lazy Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 i think it looks pretty good considering what he could of done, hate clear lights tho. and the fwd thing i disaggree. fwds are still fun cars and if speed is your thing your not gonna want it going sideways anyway. I've got a mk2 supra and as fun as that is i much prefer driving my xr2. even tho going sideways is great!!! oh and not to piss off the capri boys but if the parts were cheaper and more accessable i'd say the supra is better. just my humble opinion
over_head_cam Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 How the fook can it have all those so-called 'firsts'? All that stuff was around before that car was made He should use the built in spell checker too
Admin Vista Posted April 3, 2009 Admin Report Posted April 3, 2009 Aren't the current generation of Astra VXR's (as pictured) the best they've ever made in terms of performance and handling? The mk1's were hot snot but the mk2's had a great engine but awful chassis!
YOUNGY Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 looks ok for a plastic, could think of better cars to spend that sort of money on that aint gonna devalue so fast,or just go and buy a lotus cortina

Deano1351 Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 Must bring your own baseball cap and bluetooth earpiece
D4N Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 It would be mint if it looked like a standard astra cos they are good looking cars imo
