so heres the deal, after over a year of his celica gt4 being away my mate finally rings me up this morning telling me that the cars back, so he demands i bring the mk2 over so we can take a few photos of the 2 cars finally back side by side, but when i turn up what do i find parked on his driveway.....well low and behold he swapped the celica out for a skyline r33 gts25t, and although it may not be my or many of your cuppa teas the car is an absolute menace, boy does it fly! anyway! here are the photos of the 2 puppys parked out front =)

he's chasing the road to 200 though, so i reckon a liners probably a slightly better choice! altho 0 - 150 in that is absolutely terrifying as it is!!!

so nice to finally have the escort dusted off and on the road!

BRING ON THE SHOW!!!

Escort for me, skyline will only get whooped by a gtr anyway :ykt:

My father inlaw had one exactly the same but tuned, was running 14's at the pod with a best of 13.9 !!

So anything with a lively Crossflow will whoop the Skyline

i wouldnt be so sure, i would have a GTST anyday over a GTR. GTR's are nice - but the GTST's are 2wd only  so lots more fun :ykt::ykt:

12 grand for 315bhp, thats a hell of a lot of money for not much power, especially in skyline terms, these cars only fetch around 3 grand on the bay, dont get me wrong im not a fan of skylines myself but you'v only got to look at what theyre worth, look at this gtr on ebay, 5 grand start bid and it says its got a reliable 430bhp, probably wouldnt take too much to squeeze 5 or 600 bhp out of it either, hmm wonder what a skyline powered cortina would be like haha

it's about £12k inlcluding the cost of the car which was about £6k i think?

he doesn't use it much aswell, it's just a very expensive garage ornament while he drives his ka everywhere

I love my S13 but i miss my 100e and Cortina. Id have another if i had the chance.

RWD skyline > 4WD skyline.

Far more fun.

A bit of headwork, injectors, cams and a big turbo and remap and you can see a reliable 600bhp from an RB26, and up to 800 reliable with the right parts on standard internals! Theres even drag cars in Japan making 1200 plus on standard internals.

You cant argue with that!
