mk1super Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 Why do car drivers always try and race sports bikes off from the lights? Its something ive always wondered, can anyone enlighten me?
Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 14, 2006 Admin Report Posted September 14, 2006 I do that all the time ..... because it's fun ... there's no way I'm gonna keep with an R1 but it's fun trying

Admin Vista Posted September 14, 2006 Admin Report Posted September 14, 2006 I do that all the time ..... because it's fun ... there's no way I'm gonna keep with an R1 but it's fun trying Until you get to a corner, there's no substitute for grip!
orionmojo Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 cos its fun to do maybe? nothing to do with ego for me, as if i think i can take a bike off the line . but when you see him at the next roundabout..... game on
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 Yeah, I often wonder. I ride a scooter, and that can take cars out at the lights! I think the car driver thinks that there is no substitute for big CC's and 4 wheels - a bit like Chav's thinking their plastic can have it large with my Capri!!! But, my mate used to own a bright yellow Mini van a few years ago. It was quite well known & it was featured in Mini-World. (I have pic's if anyone would like a look!) He raced a Honda Fireblade off a set of lights in Southend, and there was nothing in it, they were both level!!! Class!
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 Didn't think it would be long! I will dig them out tomorrow and post them up for you!
