Thanks, it shouldn't do though! Had a paint nightmare days before the shoot. Went into a borrowed paint shop, prepped it, painted it, and left the van about 11pm. Little did I know they guys whos shop it was put the van outside, in favour of locking away a Mk1 mex that had been sat outside under a tarp.

They put the van under a car port type porch, and it rained. Result? Water marks all over the driver's side and back doors. So back I went the next night, and chucked another coat on, but nobody should be in the complex overnight, so again the van was outside (I thought it was OK as it was a still dry night).

The temp dropped to -6, and although the paint was dry, it bloomed hideously. So on set the next day, we threw what we had at it, polish, pledge, WD40, diesel, just to get a shine on it! How I got any more paint to stick to it after I have no idea!

Still it looks OK on camera.

Right the rover was parked (the one by the yard, we took about 10 mins shuffling the 13ft luton into a parking space (not so much parked, as abandoned) and then they left the bleedin rover stuck there, like it was invisible. Actually it was 2 lutons, had them out in the same day.

The paint on the bullion van looked better than I thought, and must get the pump timing sorted as it didn't smoke before doing the cam belt.
