thanks vista,ive got a mint mk1 bonnet almost ashame to have this done but underbonnet heat is an issue so this seems the cleanest & looks the best when done. I was in hampshire yesterday took 3 hours to get there so will drop the bonnet off & looks like you can wait while they do it. :D Thanks :thumbsup:

:mrgreen: fookin bonnets mate :lol: i looked at grafting vents in but i wanted something that looks abit factory rather than vents cut in,if that makes sense :lol:

Whilst I agree that punched louvres look the best on Old skool motors, after looking closely at some cosworth bonnets at CF, I think cosworth bonnet louvres will possibly flow more air.................and as they're a lot easier to transport I've elected to go down that route instead.

How do you stop the rain getting into the engine?

 

You don't :lol::lol::lol: Ian just covers the car over if it's a heavy downpour :lol::lol:

after this conversion i will only use it on sunny days & carry lots of mirrors & ramps with me :mrgreen:
