Rich Sav Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 thats right ppl ive been sponcered by ford retail uk my dad works 4 ford and went up 2 one of the bosses 2day 2 see if they wanted 2 sponcer me and they said yes and im gettin £500 2 spend on the car one down side ive got 2 have stickers on the rear windows but hey its all good

I've begged and pleaded with companies to sponsor mine, but all I've had so far is a bit of workshop space and a few gallons of oil thrown at me. Good luck to you though...... .........Mind, yours would look good with a black Mk2 RS sat next to it in the showroom..........

RedditchJay Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 Rich nice one mate, I have a deal on the table if I want to start rallying classic ford but I have to outlay the initial costs of a good GP4 escort 1st {around £20k}, however the deal I have is a three year deal with Shell Fuels and Morris Oils and would cover the car running costs plus entry fees........ in my previous life I raced motorcycles and was British Champion in 1999 / 2001 / 2002 / 2003 so I have kept my links alive incase I ever return to the motorsport.......... never say never............. watch out in Bham..... someone might take a fancy to your motor....... check your insurance policy covers all aspects....
