The last guy to get up and walk again was over 2000 years ago and I don't see MJ managing that! PMSL No matter what else might have happened in his life, it's hard to argue that he wasn't a great entertainer. But a live re-incarnation might have been a but much even by his standards I found it a blend of surreal and strangely emotional......... Guess I'm more of a fan that I gave myself credit for. As for the performances, Stevie blew me away more than anything else. But I have to doff my cap to Usher as well.... Hmmm. My record collection belies that last sentence

He's the biggest international star in the history of the planet..... Cue the cynics No it isn't sad to be watching but oh please, the biggest international star on what planet and in who's opinion? Sure he made some good music but not as much as people make out. In a 30+ year career as a solo artist he managed just seven albums, not all of which were good and one of which was partly a compliation of past hits. Good artist, yes. But best international star? Not a chance.
Mr Sam Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 im sure Jarvis Cocker would more than agree with that

And what's more, the sycophants on that program claimed he was the best international star EVER. so to counter that one too: Elvis, Sinatra. And if we can include bands as well as artists, The Beatles, U2 to name just two
