BaileyMex Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 Might sound a bit daft but here goes for the trip up to ford fair, If i chuck my old 4 spokes on the rear which have balloon 175/70/13 tyres on but leave the 175/50's on the front Would it upset the handling and make it unsafe? Just thinking that still running the 4 speed box it might help drop the revs on the motor way
Messenjah Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 i ran 205/60 s on the rear and 175/50s on the front of a capri for a while cant say it inspired me with confidence ... but i always had 205/60s on the rear and 185/60s on the front which isnt gonna be tooo different to what you are proposing dude i woudlnt have thought itd be too bad
SLEEPY Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 I run 205/60 on the rear & 185/60 up front no problems.
BaileyMex Posted July 30, 2009 Author Report Posted July 30, 2009 i was thinking more of the profile difference between 70 balloons and 50 rubber bands

mad-max1977 Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 it will be ok mate as long as they are in pairs like 205 rear and 185 fronts
Admin Vista Posted July 31, 2009 Admin Report Posted July 31, 2009 It'll be fine m8 I agree...............But it will look silly imo They always do with 175's
