Lamb Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 That looks the nuts!!!........what a difference!! How hard was it to convert the bumpers over to the early smaller type???
Chevette1256 Posted April 11, 2006 Author Report Posted April 11, 2006 Cheers for all the comments folks That looks the nuts!!!........what a difference!! How hard was it to convert the bumpers over to the early smaller type??? I think its just a straight forward swap, but theres 2 holes on the side of the car (front wing and rear quarter) where the plastic quarter bumper from the bigger bumpers used to clip in, the rear bumper just covers them and no more but I think the front had to be filled in (although there was a new wing put on one side so there was no hole to start with) I would advise you to try them on first tho because they may just be a straight forward swap and cover the holes
Cookie Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 looks ace now bud, love mk1 festas, has so much fun in my old ones keep up the good work
caprigary Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 Loving that, I've been fancying a mk1 fiesta recently, I love the supersport look. Haven't seen it around, does your brother drive it much in Falkirk area?

Chevette1256 Posted April 14, 2006 Author Report Posted April 14, 2006 Loving that, I've been fancying a mk1 fiesta recently, I love the supersport look. Haven't seen it around, does your brother drive it much in Falkirk area? not really its been off the road for ages because the original 957cc blew up so he's been trying to source a good 1.3 to make it like a proper supersport since then he's been running about in a mk3 fiesta, another blue mk1 fiesta but it had to be scrapped, 5 door mk3 escort and recently his mk2 escort although its off the road aswell gettin the engine rebuild as the timing chain snapped
Capripete Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 She's looking good, mine looks like yours used to at the mo!
Lamb Posted May 6, 2006 Report Posted May 6, 2006 Crackin example wot seats are they? Those seats are out of an early (pre 90 spec) Series 2 RS Turbo...... I run fiesta turbo seats in my mk1.......very comfy and look good too. You just need to make a small bracket for were the seats bolt in at the front and they go straight in.
Chevette1256 Posted May 6, 2006 Author Report Posted May 6, 2006 yeah lambs right, I'm sure the original series 2 subframes fit straight in, same floor pan at the front
mk1fezlad Posted May 6, 2006 Report Posted May 6, 2006 hmm interestin... tried fittin 4x4 cossie seats the other week ol boy sed i could ave em 4 60 notes livid they didn't fit too wide needed to mess about with subframes. Might ave to bang a couple of them badboys in there instead!!
Chevette1256 Posted May 6, 2006 Author Report Posted May 6, 2006 they are VERY comfy and hold you in tight easy and cheap upgrade I think
