bmxdave Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Heres mine and my Dads cars. Mines the Mk1 his is the Vitesse. I bought the MK1 as my first car (im 19) and hes got the bug again so bought himself his little triumph. Its a 1966, with a 1600GT engine. Loads of chassis and other mods. i.e quickrack, lowered and adjustable dampers. RS2000 calipers and capri discs. etc etc. Soon to gain twin 40's and a few other bits to match. Hoping for 100 to 115bhp. Its a 1967 Vitesse. 2.0 straight six. Has twin Strombergs instead of SU's, stainless exhaust and thats it. Should be running about 115bhp. Soon to be resprayed midnight blue with a cream stripe down the side and some minilights. Enjoy!

Pipster007 Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 Very nice. Not too many Vitesse's knocking about these days. When I was in the 6th form (back in the late 80's) one of the upper 6th always wanted one, and he ended up getting one before he left............. A Vitesse convertible in yellow with a with flash
bmxdave Posted September 18, 2006 Author Report Posted September 18, 2006 Yeah, ive grown to really like the vitesse. Really is a nice car. Sounds like a V8 with the carbs on it. Still think mines better. Weve had many an arguement about whos is quicker, but we havnt been able to try yet as im still doing lessons.
