MM77 Posted September 24, 2009 Author Report Posted September 24, 2009 Thanks is 'gay'? I frequently say "Ta" or "Cheers mate". Oh and "Thanks". Ok not gay in the literal meaning, but just a bit bland - which ironically is the opposite of the meaning of gay I need something snappy. Something positively British
MM77 Posted September 24, 2009 Author Report Posted September 24, 2009 Ta ... or ..... erm.... oh ..... blimey I thought there would be loads of words springing to mind but there's not Exactly my point!!!! There's about 4words in the whole of the english language to thank somebody
Scott W Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 I always say "be good" at the end of emails if i know the person
Trevmk3 Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 you will just have to experiment with what you say after "cheers" or "ta", for example round Yorkshire you might say "cheers cock"
