Fantastic day altogether.

Many thanks to all those Capri Owners that came along and made the day a perfect one.

Stats of the day.....

One Surrey Capri Club -member had a count up at noon, he found....

22 Mk1's

27 Mk1 Facelifts

19 Mk2's

139 Mk3's

& 2 odd looking Capri's - Red Toyota look-a-like and DMS Bullit.

So the total at midday was 209.

Mk1's included 7 RS3100's & 1 RS2600.

Total excludes a few late comers that arrived in the early afternoon

Fantastic day!

I was there in my old Capri, now given to my bro in law.

Red 2.1 laser (destriped and without any side bump strips and with a turbo tail)

Car got painted (2 pack paint and baked) on thurs, refitted on fri, at show on sat!!

Had last minute engine problem which took 1/2 hour to fix, rocker lock nut decided to loosen....

Thanks to everyone who made it a great day.

Oh by the way, if anyone heard me, I was the guy that shouted from the members bridge "That's the slowest Le Mans start I have ever seen" when the owners had to walk back to the cars on the track!!

Nice Cappers!! Anyone know the whereabouts (if at all) of FLH 183T, a black MK3 3.0S. Sold it mid 90s to a guy from Watford/Chorleywood area. He used to hillclimb a Scimitar GTE. Ta.
