bullittcraig Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 Just wondering if their exhausts and manifolds are any good?
antz Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 they are ashley exhaust copies. cheap. fit ok. sound good. dont last long. genuine ashely exhaust. overpriced. fit terrible. sound good. dont last long. screwed either way really. I use a PLR system on my car as it was cheap
boXXer Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 i used a PLR system on my mk1 fiesta, and it was total bollox. Fitted horribly, but once on it did sound good.

bullittcraig Posted October 11, 2009 Author Report Posted October 11, 2009 So i guess that you all think they are better than ashley exhausts but are they worth buying?
jay Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 got a pl on mine, no prob's... part from getting rusty, but 4+ years on winter's aint too bad..
Copey Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 i think its very much hit and miss i had one on my capri and it was utter utter SHITE, total pig to fit and it never fitted properly it either rattled, rubbed on the tyre or the tip pointed in towards inside of the car...did sound ace though yet others have had them on their capris and they fit perfectly
Mexico Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 PLR is about 10 mind drive from me so use his parts on all of my cars. Fitted the exhausts to all my escorts and the 100e and I have had no problems at all with any of them to be honest. About to buy one for my Mk1 soon and will be definetly using him. They are much better than the ashley systems, and sound very nice.
stuartp Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 i have one fitted to my mk1 escort, it was on there when i got it so i can't say how easy it was to make fit but it doesn't rattle, has no rust and sounds pretty good to me
