they are ashley exhaust copies. cheap. fit ok. sound good. dont last long.

 

genuine ashely exhaust. overpriced. fit terrible. sound good. dont last long.

 

 

screwed either way really. I use a PLR system on my car as it was cheap

Hi!

I fit an 2"System from Peter LLoyd(Jetex)on my Mk1 RS2000 and to my wife's 1100 Crossflow.

Fits good.sound very well!

But i drive not in Winter and so there is still no rust .....

i think its very much hit and miss

 

i had one on my capri and it was utter utter SHITE, total pig to fit and it never fitted properly it either rattled, rubbed on the tyre or the tip pointed in towards inside of the car...did sound ace though :mrgreen:

 

yet others have had them on their capris and they fit perfectly

PLR is about 10 mind drive from me so use his parts on all of my cars. Fitted the exhausts to all my escorts and the 100e and I have had no problems at all with any of them to be honest. About to buy one for my Mk1 soon and will be definetly using him.

 

They are much better than the ashley systems, and sound very nice.

i have one fitted to my mk1 escort, it was on there when i got it so i can't say how easy it was to make fit but it doesn't rattle, has no rust and sounds pretty good to me

i have one that came on my capri wasn't fitted properly so need to address this issue and rubs on my rear tyre sum times but if ur worried bout it rotting paint it in heat proof paint problem solved 4 awhile
