ok all you from turbospot mite know me but i am new to this site so i thawt i'd start by putting up pics of my mk1.

 

its a 1760 xflow on twin 40 webbers. twin silenced 2" ashley exhaust system. 5 speed box and a stage 2 head

That is one tidy motor! Top work lad!

 

Not a huge fan of square front no. plates, but hey each to their own!

 

As said above, what sorta power she pulling?? :)

when i got her she had a printout on a rolling road of doing 116.1 bhp. but that was a while back and the car wasn't running rite. i got it sorted but the moast i got out of it was 108.summat but thats enuf to beat them nova boys down my way

I take it thats at the wheels! ;)

 

So about 130ish at the fly! Not bad going tbh! Im sure it leaves the chav's spinning theyre front wheels whilst your laying the power down on the backs :D

no thats at the flywheel :( i was expecting like 120 + from flywheel but i duno y it wudn't.

 

That is strange indeed! More power is easily achieved with your set up! Did the rolling road set it up, or just do a power run??

they set it up aswel.

i think its not the engine i thawt it was.

i aint 2 sure about the stage 2 head and supposedly its got a kent 244 cam and i don't think its got that either cuz it idles very well.

im pretty sure its 1760 as thats what the logbook says and i think apart from that and the twin 40's its standard.

my 1/4 bumpers are starting to pit. does any1 know what slightly pitted 1/4 bumpers are worth and does any1 on here use stainless 1/4 bumpers cuz i think i mite invest in a pair of them if there any good.

Lovely car bud looks the dogs the round ones!!

i'm guessing your using the type 9 5 speed Beacuse i'm building a 1700 with a 5 speed and just wondered what diff your using? So i can work out whats the best opition to go for.
