Yeomans22 Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 This has been parked up by my house for atleast 15 years, nothing ever gets done to it, and he wont sell it. went past today so got a few pics. what a waste Paul.
MM77 Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Whats wrong with it? That bodykit looks very strange.
Admin Vista Posted November 20, 2009 Admin Report Posted November 20, 2009 That bodykit looks very strange. I was just wondering if it was a part installed aston martin kit or early variant of it
OldskoolSue Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 What a shame poor old car deserves a bit of love
Beakster Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Back end of it reminds me of the Shelby replica Memphis Raines was working on years ago. If it's been sat out in that condition for 15 years its probably beyond saving. The way the door is hanging off it suggests the A pillar is rotten, so probably everything else is too.
Scott W Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Personally I think it is "I dont want to admit defeat" so the person won't sell it. I Found a mk2 RS2000 belonged to a farmer who brought it new, drove it until the cambelt snapped and abandoned it in his barn. I tried to get it and he wouldnt sell it, he then died and the car was either crushed or broken up.
bigglesmk2 Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Shame Theres probably more bodykit left than there is capri left
Fishtailparka Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 I would be embarrassed to own it, it's a complete monstrosity of a car.
caprinerd Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 whats the motor behind it ,looks like he`s starting a breakers yard of his own
Ste-V Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Might not be saveable or very pretty, but still a shame
Yeomans22 Posted November 20, 2009 Author Report Posted November 20, 2009 whats the motor behind it ,looks like he`s starting a breakers yard of his own sierra 3 door, with cossie wheels, don't know if its a proper cossie though, thats been there for for as long as i can remember too. i would imagine both are only good for parts now.
jamesmk1 Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 there is a mk1 capri gt on a drive 5 mins from me that he wont sell been sat for about 6 years
