There aren't any big meets on for a while, the next big one is Civil War & that's in January! They wouldn't risk having a stolen car hanging around for almost a month & a half

 

Stolen pretty close to where the A series was nicked from so maybe linked, possibly opportunists looking to make a few quid weighing it in?

do you no what i am sick to death of people who have granada's stolen blaming banger drivers !!!

 

fair play he/she is upset because the car has been nicked and so would i be but how bloody dare they point the fingers at race drivers before knowing the facts first !

 

it gives banger racing such a shit name , if escorts , cortina's,capri's any other old ford really gets nicked you never hear a banger driver get mentioned but a granada gets nicked and fingers are pointed straight at them most drivers love old skool fords as much as we do not just race them !!!

I saw this thread and knew straight away the finger would be pointed at banger lads.. I do bangers, I love OSF's, and I know how much an OSF means to its owner, therefore I would never dream of nicking one for racing. Alot of other banger lads also love OSF's, and know how much they mean to their owners, and therefore, would not steal one.

i know of 3 mk2 granadas that were stollen for the ipswich world finale a couple of weeks ago and one guy actually asked my mate if he needed a fresh one. before anyone asks i dont pass on information and im not saying this estate was one of them but i can tell you all that when there needed they find em i dont nick them myself and i have actually had a mk2 escort stollen from mysely unfortunatley old forda are popular with racing thats a fact

WTF?? Are you saying you know for sure of banger racers who steal cars but won't tell anybody? I am stunned and amazed anybody would withhold information like that, specially as you have had a car stolen yourself. Can you tell me exactly what the point of this section is then, if not to catch thieving scum? How would you feel if somebody you knew could have told you who had taken your Mk2, but wouldn't?

Agreed. IF Fred's interpretation of your post is correct, i.e. you know who stole the cars you mention but won't pass on the info, then you're as guilty as the thieves that took the cars in the first place.
