Admin Vista Posted February 7, 2007 Author Admin Report Posted February 7, 2007 it was immobilised and secure but not enough oviously It was your car I take it? No sign of it yet then?
sab6024 Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 I had a Thatcham 1 fitted to my Capri when I bought her 3 years ago but the only trouble is she tells me when it rains, when the milk tanker goes past at 4 in the morning and when it's windy. So no-one listens to the alarm anymore. The neighbours are sick of it. Although she did tell us when we had fuel theives in the street. I hope he gets the car back in one piece tho, theiving bas***ds
Gareth Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 .....ringing classics is now very big business Out of every ten classics stolen only 1 is recovered and this if difficult to trace due to older cars having only one id fitted" I know of 2 Capris in my area with the same reg... Both black 2.8s.... I double checked earlier today thinkin it was my imagination, but I was right. I'd love to catch up with just one of these thievin degenerates... Just one then I'd post up everywhere what happens when they're caught.........
Alonso Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 theiving scumbags eh iv just spent my life savings on a RS2 if i ever caught anycant trying to steal it id do time no problem hope it turns up buddy
RedditchJay Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 nothing is safe and I partly blame EBAY because its a channel to break and sell parts.
Rick Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 il second that. my gf dad his superbike stolen sunday... bet thew parts of that will end up on there too. gutted for him
mk1nurburg Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 the wierd thing is i dont think they realise that most of us spend all our spare time working on our cars and theyr such a big part of our lives that i know for sure that i would flip if i caught someone trying to steal my cars. im not sure if i could stop the beating turning into serious damage. best story was a guy went to look at a classic advertised in the back of classicford mag and when he turned up to buy the car there was no car and the guy tried to rob him. he got away with his money but him and some mates foned up later that week and turned up with a transit full of people. theiving scum really need to sort their ideas and morals out.
morcheen Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 I hate thieving scumbag tossers.Would'nt piss on em if they were on fire I was even gutted when i was 17 and my Allegro was nicked they nicked an allagro ! some theives are very stupid the people you would least expect could be the very ones to nick your OSF ! beware who you let work on your car,who you let know where you keep it,and never!!! put up a pic of the garage, drive or whatever place you keep it.
rob-loves-osf Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 this is a very bad thing now classic cars wont stand a chance in the future ! i hope it turns up !! BASTARDS!
