XC351 Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Posted December 12, 2009 very nice collection how comes they have ukreg plates on some of them? The XA (Blue on White) is still in the UK. The XC GXL (4 Door Sedan) is back over here in Australia with me but the photos were taken with the UK plates on and the XC Fairmont Coupe is the one I use the most. All three will be in the UK next year and I am probably taking the XA to Goodwood. The XA is a replica of the 1973 Bathurst Winning car driven by Alan Moffat and should look like this We are thinking ofputting all of the racing livery onto it but I'm not sure! What do you lot think? Wayne
t33stat Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Amazing cars, where would i have to look to pic something like this up in the uk? and approximately how much? lol Thanks Ryan
evil knievel Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 The racing livery would look great Lovely collection!
Mr2Caps Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 I like all of those! Put the race stickers on it!

XC351 Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Posted December 12, 2009 Hi m8, just wondered, if you know how long has the White & Blue XA been over here? , because my dad thinks he recognizes it Tom About 2 years. Wayne
SebringRS Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Ahhh, kk then. Not the one he thought There was one a while ago local to me, my dad helped the guy get it runnin. Soon after the guy put it up for sale, and offered it to my dad really cheap (cant remember how much ) My dad didnt buy it and is now kickin himself wishin he did, cus even then it was worth quite alot here and in Oz He thought it was tht one becuse it was pretty much exactly the same as yours, interior, colour, wheels etc.
gmrvic Posted December 14, 2009 Report Posted December 14, 2009 Great cars, especially the red XC coupe!!! What's the difference between falcon and a fairmont??? Equipment only or something else???
XC351 Posted December 14, 2009 Author Report Posted December 14, 2009 Great cars, especially the red XC coupe!!! What's the difference between falcon and a fairmont??? Equipment only or something else??? Thanks. The Fairmont is an upgraded Falcon. The main differences being trim. The Fairmont got things like a clock, T-Bar Auto (if Auto was specified) additional Chrome trim around the wheel arches, along the front of the bonnet and guards, around the rear quarters and along the tops of the doors, additional carpet along the bottom of the door trim and rear interior lights in the C pillar. There are a few other little subtlties. The XC Fairmont got Rectangular Headlights opposed to round for the Falcon 500 and Dual for the GS Falcon. Basically the Falcon and Fairmont are the same car just one is up market and higher spec. The XC Fairmont GXL was Ford's way of getting around the GT issue. My GXL is a GT Power Pac i.e. 351 Cleveland, 9" 4 Wheel Disc etc. Wayne
BIG G Posted December 14, 2009 Report Posted December 14, 2009 I had a 86 falcon wagon on Wa plates for about 8 months straight 6 power Bloody great
