Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 does anyone know of any custom car club meets in manchester, hull, leeds kinda area? and are there any rod builders on here? i ask because a friend of mine is building an oldskool rod and wants to get to know lads in the know, hes stuck for parts and info etc.. could anyone help him out?

Posted January 6, 2010 Author Report Posted January 6, 2010 thanks for that, hes starting with a 1925 citreon (pop style) rover v8 pick up.. he basically needs to speak to someone about varios stuff, mountings, parts availability etc.. an also to generally chat about the whole scene.. il get some pics of the car later for you..

First wednesday of every month at the nags head on the A556 where it crosses the M56. Still havent figured out how to put a bloody picture on here otherwise there would be a map.[/img]

Skimmer Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 There used to be a big cruise at Preston though i dont know if it still runs monthly...........most parts he'll have to fabricate as its a one off hes doing beleive me id done plenty of rods customs but hanging around the right people will definatly help him but it will work the opposite if he meets the billy bull$hitters........wish him good luck
