Daggle Posted January 13, 2010 Author Report Posted January 13, 2010 will everybody stop with the bloody farce book campaighns for chart posistions Sorry bud, I thought it was a good idea, better then most of the tripe in the charts at the mo
GT_lenny Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 will everybody stop with the bloody farce book campaighns for chart posistions Sorry bud, I thought it was a good idea, better then most of the tripe in the charts at the mo it just riles me mate thats all yes its tripe but its in the charts because someone bought it thats how the charts work, trying to encourage masses of people to buy some old and yes way cooler music for the sole purpose of creating some kind of "rebellion" just seems like trying too hard to me
Trevmk3 Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 i think the RATM thing was good as it showed that not everyone wants to here all this xfactor jelly mould music/karaoke, but in my opinion its been done once and now people need to get behind small upcoming bands that have grafted playing pubs and small festivals i dont like most of the music that is in the charts but some of it is Ok, although i did here a song earlier (some R&B rammel, that genre of music is wearing very thin) and thought it was a women singing until they said his name (cant remember his name or the song thats how interested i was in it )
Trevmk3 Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 did forget to say, i would prefer there to be that Slade song in the charts than some of the Black eyed peas and crap like it

I've got the album (on vinyl) that that song came off upstairs though this was my favourite track off it

But I can't see it happening again soon. This is about the 3rd "lets get this to number one" thing I have seen in 2 weeks. Last week, it was get the clash to no1 for st georges day. I listen to radio1 in the van, and sometimes wonder why I bother, its like they have only have a box of 15 records in it, and when they run out they start again that thing at no1 is awful "got a melody in my head, with my eyeballs stuck on reply"
