Nicks53 Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 I'm sure that they have to charge the lower of the 2 prices advertised, I remember working in supermarkets and that's why they make so much of a fuss when you're pricing things up on the shelves; they really made a point of whinging about it.

I think thats company policy rather than the law

.pete. Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 I work in an appliance shop and we are always having wrongly priced stuff coming to the tills as all of our prices are handwritten using an unclear, dog eared price list. If the item is only marked a few pound cheaper than it should be I let it go through, but I can't let big differences go though. That's just because i'm very nice. Another thing people get wrong is if they buy something incorrectly they expect a refund or exchange. This is also down to shop to do as a good will gesture to accept them back and not law. For example buying brake pads when you needed to get brake discs. There is no law to state that this should be accepted back for refund or exhange, but most places will just to show good customer service.
X-pack-Glyn Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 I didnt know B&Q sold kegs of stella??
BIGKEV Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 if you see a New car with £30000 in it and a Zero drops off the inside of the windscreen then you cant buy the car for £3000.......
