Russian Bear Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Pretty much as the thread title says really, which car manufacturers paint is the brightest White do you think? just wondered cuz me new motor is limbering up for paint and im looking to paint the body as white as i can up to the bottom of the window pillars and windscreen with contrasting black roof and pillars. The obvious one is Diamond White. But is this the brightest?? Ill then pool the suggestions into a poll and the winner i will paint with...money permittin i.e. its not too expensive?

vibrating_Cake Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 the audi white/nissan skyline whites are the whitest, the audi whites have a slightly blue tinge (if you get a little anal about looking what colours go into making white) and they tend to look to gleem more and look a lot cleaner . the frozen/frost white is just white, diamond white is a yellowy white, and the skyline whites are also white white. the audi white is probably the easiest as the seat one... candy white?? is that a white basecoat and a candy colour?? probably a bitch to spray and repair lol and the TT in the pic above looks whiter because the colour is burnt out because someone cant use a camera!! its not really THAT bright

I know what you mean, its looks like its got a blue/grey tint to it, but that does make it look much different to the cream shades such as Diamond White.

Where would i find that?? go to a paint supplier , if you cant find one ...ask your local bodyshop if they can tell you where they get their paint from.
