Gilli Posted January 8, 2007 Author Report Posted January 8, 2007 Forgot to write down the specs: 1973 mk1 escort, started life as a 1300GT, its LHD (shell came from the Canaries), bubble arched, has a Fiat twin cam bored out to 2.2, twin Webber 44 idf carbs, engine has been chassis mounted and moved back 350-400mm,5spd Fiat box, Willwood 4pots up front, drums on an english axle on leaf springs with a LSD and anti-tramp bars on the back, adjustable dampers all round, 15inch Compomotives, 6 point cage which is also tied into the front strut tops, firewalled, Sparco Evo seat and wheel, Ralloy tank, de-bumpered(for now- what you think?), no carpets, is undersealed, and 4 Cibies are about to go on with Prepfab brackets. It needs a bit of tidying up and that sort of thing but i'll rub it off a few ditches in the mean time!
