Admin Vista Posted September 11, 2010 Admin Report Posted September 11, 2010 RIP 3000 odd innocents The guilty dead and their living associates? Murderous scum that deserve that no place in heaven or on earth no matter what their warped take on Islam tells them

Mrs O/H/C Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 R.I.P to all those who died on that sad day
Kasper Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 I have to say I'm slightly annoyed about all this. Yes, it was a tragedy and innocent people died but where is our day of rememberance for people killed by IRA bombs (which had a lot of American funding)? Every year they wheel this out like some how because it was mainly American lives lost it is worse.

I must say i agree with you but i think the american thing had a bigger impact because the people died at mostly the same time, but the victims of the IRA scum died over a thirty odd year timescale.

Every year they wheel this out like some how because it was mainly American lives lost it is worse. Whilst I semi agree with you about the funding, it didn't come from the US government or even the US as a whole, nor was it the IRA's only source of funding. What's more, in the whole 30+ years of the IRA troubles total victim numbers approximately equalled what Al Quaeda managed in one morning.
Kasper Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 Don't get me wrong, I'm not acusing Americans as a whole nor am I saying that the day shouldn't be marked. I just think its sad no one seems to remember the people killed through terrorism closer to home.
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 i watched all of that live cant believe it was that long ago Me too. I was at a conference in Birmingham. They had plasma screens which we watched it. I drove home that night feeling numb, knowing the world was going to be a different place from now on.
Admin Vista Posted September 11, 2010 Author Admin Report Posted September 11, 2010 I drove home that night feeling numb, knowing the world was going to be a different place from now on. Ditto. I remember thinking that in 1941 the Japanese bit off more than they could chew and got atom bombs dropped on two of their cities for it 3 years later. And that I hoped a knee jerk reaction wouldn't involve lobbing a Nuclear cruise missile into the middle east and setting the whole world a light
Posse Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 Fooking time fly's all this thing on the news about they want to build a what ever just down the road from there i don't get ? Surely its a piss take.
willsy Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 So sad. I still find it incredible how cruel fellow members of the human race can be to one another. People being brainwashed from an early age to believe this CRAP that rules their lives and destroys the lives of good people
over_head_cam Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 I still remember it clearly like it was yesterday. I was at work and the customer had it on the telly. When I got home I just sat in front of the TV totally gobsmacked.

I was on holiday at the time and i was shitting myself thinking fook me ive got to fly back home yet Can you remember a few years later when there were rumours of an impending attack on British soil? The rumour was that they were going to blow a passenger jet out of the sky. That was the day we were coming back from our holidays. We were sat in the airport reading all about it... Then as we were coming into land at Leeds/Bradford you could see loads of police on the roads surrounding the airport.
Billy_smith Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 8 years ago tonight the muslim in my street had fairy lights up and had a party!! That party wouldn't of happened! i'd a kiked the fuk out of him when the lights went up!
FredTransit Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 9 years, time flies! My first thought was that Bush was gonna nuke Afghanistan and we were all gonna get dragged into it. I was genuinely scared that's what he would do. Odd no terrorist 'organisation' ever claimed the bombing as theirs, I think once it escalated, and the towers collapsed, whoever it was realised they had bitten off more than they could chew and quietly backed away.
