Ade B Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 Why the big downer on the Ace? I've always enjoyed it when I've went.... It's not the ACE, it's the crowd that the performance Ford type events attracts. You know the type, stupidly loud stereos and much more modern machinery that doesn't really fit in with the Old Skool philosophy. Tunes and Cossies, sounds like a quality night out....

For some maybe, just not for most of the people on here.
bomber1 Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 i love going to the ace. end off. but to do a 50 mile round trip battling the m25 to see some plastic crap id rather put my time & money into geting my car ready for when there is a decent meet. dont ask the question if u dont want an honest answer if thats ur thing go enjoy
Ade B Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 dont ask the question if u dont want an honest answer if thats ur thing go enjoy What else would I be after?! The average Ace Ford meet looks just like a cruise with more interesting cars from what I've seen! I'll try and get to one soon to judge it for myself......

Ade B Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 Wednesday Usually have breakfast or lunch there when I'm down, and will pop back at night if there's anything on.... Just need to try and be around at the time of a Ford meet in the future to see for myself.
martymk1 Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 i've been going there for 5' years, usually every weekend, as i live close by, its not as good as it used to be, also i know someone who works there & he says the same, try to go to both nights & you'll notice the difference
