He shouldnt have to sell the van its the least we can do ...... As an OSF family it would be a shame if we didnt do this Ill be sending him a Tenner tommorrow . No offence Darren this isnt about charity its about thanking you for the Site . And YOU Keeping that awesome Van .. After all a working man needs a Van mate ... I'd have done it sooner and i HAVE been meaning to, but we really are quite very skint. And it's not for the van. I don't want the van to go, but as Posse suggested it's not just for the money, its time for a change too (saloon right?) Go on the OSF! And go on the unsuspecting old Ford, currently unaware that its going to get the Posse treatment soon........it's out there somewhere. Good luck with the sale mate!

Basically, this is going to be £12.50 per year which will include an osf keyring (that cannot be bought), access to a restricted room, priority on club stands, car parking and advance buying on tickets ... and possibly more (not fully finalised yet). This will be up and running we hope within the next month and so those of you who really want to help might want to consider taking us up on the Contributor idea instead. Darren is selling his van to fund other things on the site and not just to keep the site running but I am sure that he will be extremely flattered and touched that you have made this gesture Doc and everyone else
antz Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 TRUST ME TO BE FLAT BROKE! god i cant even afford to put petrol in my car this week! when i do get new sigs i do ALWAYS contribute about £3 to the runnign of OSF as a thank you. when i get a cash flow i will make a contribution.i do promise that but at the moment not having a job and living off pennies a week is making things tight. sorry everyone but i do love this site and i will make a contribution when funds allow!
Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 18, 2006 Admin Report Posted September 18, 2006 Antz - don't worry about it mate - that is why we want to do the contributor thing ..... some of us are able to help financially and others don't have the funds ..... with the contributor thing we think it will be a fair way of allowing those who can help to benefit in terms of advance ticket sales, car parking, club stands and possibly discounts on items but still enabling non contributors to enjoy all the current benefits that the board offers to everyone

Like Jo said, I am not selling the van just to fund the site. I have other reasons for selling the van and although it will be sad to see it go, it is my biggest financial asset and I need to sell it at the moment to fund other things (mostly non site related). We will be starting the OSF Contributor scheme sometime in the next month and I hope that those of you who want to help us to keep the board running will consider donating in that way so keep your hands in your pockets And don't worry ...... there will be another OSF leading the way in the near future yfkt Cheers ......
