I did use the term Jap crap loosely, they do have some advantages, an ex workmate's Scooby is out of the garage after needing a new battery., so classic OSF or modern car they still need maintenance & looking after. The Jap scene is very big because thankfully the Japanese themselves found a market they could capitalise on in their country which spread worldwide, but they are a bit soulless. I was a passenger in am R32 Skyline once & altohugh it was quick, sitting iin it was dull. But everytime I get into my Capri each morning for work, I have no heater blower, the face vents blow cold air, the stereo is 80's crap but I love the feel of it, it has character. Which my job was as exciting as the drive to it each day....
