Mrs O/H/C Posted November 27, 2010 Author Report Posted November 27, 2010 SOUND LIKE A NEW ONE NEEDED You are being very helpful today !!
redrocket Posted November 27, 2010 Report Posted November 27, 2010 are there any usb disks or memory cards plugged in? sometimes if set to boot from these it can try eternally to boot from those instead of the internal disk. otherwise sounds like you might have some broken hardware.
Mrs O/H/C Posted November 27, 2010 Author Report Posted November 27, 2010 No discs in ....and no memory stick BUT i did use a memory stick for the first time in this p,c the other day (dont know if that has any bearing on it) It has been working fine until it froze this morning, i shut it down and it wont boot up since
Badgerman85 Posted November 27, 2010 Report Posted November 27, 2010 No discs in ....and no memory stick BUT i did use a memory stick for the first time in this p,c the other day (dont know if that has any bearing on it) It has been working fine until it froze this morning, i shut it down and it wont boot up since theres probably some bad sectors on the disk, its easily fixable with chkdsk but youll need a windows vista cd to boot up off!
