Hi all,

Can anyone recommend to me a rear disc kit for an Atlas axle?

I have the Sierra calipers, 147x10mm discs but for some reason im having nothing but trouble. The discs just bind up for some reason and its doing my head in. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

So, who does a good quality bolt on kit that will fit?

Any ideas?

Cheers!

Ah, i have found the source of all my troubles!

The calipers i have have been modified

The 'pillar' (threaded lugs) on the pad carriers have been shortened. thanks to Joe Aston for calling me late on Saturday night and pointing me in the right direction.

they have been shortened but are also uneven lengths. No wonder i was having some a hard time getting it all aligned.

So, does anyone have any pad carriers for solid discs? Sierra rear calipers?

Cheers!

As you've found the problem is there no way to make adjustments so you can use what you have already as long as it's safe etc ?

A complete New rear brake kit would hopefully save anymore hassle and I suspect a few companies sell the same one's as mentioned previously so you could look at ebay Item number's 290512851777 or 230563895355 from Motorsport Tools for a reference ! Seem good quality but not used them myself and should fit 13" wheels if your going that size ?

Would think an AP racing set up on the back is a luxury if you want some of the best stuff on your motor the one's like Gartrac sell but as alway's budget and application will dictate this. Best of luck with it sambo.
