they do seem a bit pricy, but they fit nicely on a standard capri

7.5j x pack wheels are a touch too wide for capris, they will fit but for me they look wrong, they stick out from the arch ever so slightly

the 7j ones (or these repros) fit just like a pepperpot or rs 7 spoke 13" wheel fit, spot on

if i hadnt bought a set of 15" wheels for mine with new tyres, id grab a set at that price... even if it is cci

The repo ones look good but like you say why bother when you can get a genuine set for the same money, mind you saying that, the only ones your going to get around the £400 mark are probably going to need a refurb :!: so you got to take that into consideration :D

I watched these the other day and could'nt believe the only reached what they did, reserve was'nt met though :D

Those 7x13 RS repro rims are great . Don't forget secondhand ones are usually bent and kerbed and need a £150+ refurb , cost £400 + to buy , £60+ for wheel nuts and £60+ for the centre caps unless your lucky and get nice ones with your 27 year old wheels  . The 7.5 RS wheels are always cheaper secondhand than the 7's because they don't fit straight on much unless it's got wider arches :D

Here's a restored 1980's 7x13 that i used to have . As you can see it's no different to the repro except polished and sprayed black :Dsunbeamtonysmk1porschemk1escort045.jpg

he means there a copy of the RS 7" ronal alloys, i dont think they were an option on any english capri, maybe in germany

point is there a 7j rim, lasers are 6j

it has a greater dish to it, the two pictures supplied arent great but I think it would look a lot nicer than a laser wheel

lazer wheels were 6s,they look like lazer wheels because of the thicker walls on the wheels, the 7 and 7.5s were part of the series x option range

I don't want traction as i like sliding about with the rears on fire  , mines a road car so i don't need traction anyway . You can do 2 second 60 foot times still with 175's at the pod just pulling away carefully instead of booting it and that's good enough to beat most cars on wide street rubber , so just go for it mate :D
